It's been a long time since I rock and rolled | Rock n mauve Loreal Caress Lipstick

These are one of my favorite lipstick formulations. They have just enough colour, they feel amazing on the lips.
I find the Lip butters to be quite thick and too much on the lips but these are so light weight and so easy to apply. You could even apply these without a mirror and not look too crazy.

I got a few shades in summer. A couple of pinks, red and a coral. Walking past the L'Oreal stand a flash of purple caught my eye...A beautiful mauvey berry colour that looks amazing for autumn/winter.

Its sheer so easy if you are a bit scared of colour, its almost Revlon Black Cherry but a much sheerer and easy to wear version.

These are £7.99 and currently 3 for 2 in SuperDrug.

Sorry not the best picture but i haven't seen day light in days!! haha!

So you can see its not too purple, not too dark, not too OTT for day time!

Rescue me I want your tender charms \ charles Worthington intense rescue melting balm

Having seen this on Fleur de force and miss budget beauty's channels i decided to get it while it is on offer in boots...its something you don't see at the drugstore very often and as i have bleached hair thought i would give it a go, every little helps right?

I use hair oils a lot. I also use intense conditioners but find i always need to apply some kind of serum to the ends after i blow dry it but with this i have applied some volume spray and heat protector and my hair looks as though it has been slicked with serum, its so shiny and healthy looking.

My hair has very dry ends and this oil has magically transformed them into looking like white blonde is my natural colour.

I also find I have to heat style my hair after I sleep on it and this morning I woke up with beautiful sleek hair.

Here are some pictures of my hair after using this wonder product...

Before, With no product and blow dried...bit frazzled...

After the wonder...My fringe has the worst damage on the ends

Moral of the story?? Go out and get this stuff if you want smooth silky hair!!

Strange fascination, fascinating me Changes are taking the pace I'm going through | life post

This is a bit of a strange random post today. I just feel like i need to get it off my chest and tell someone...the internet counts as a person right?!

So I have worked in retail since I left college, where i dreamed of becoming a fashion illustrator. At the same time as going to college I worked part time in several brands, nothing exciting!
I enjoyed college but I had had enough of studying and my head was else where, I don't want to live my life saying I regret this or that but I wish I could have motivated myself to push into the career I dreamed of. My weakest quality is probably motivation/procrastination.

So i got on with college finished with a passing grade and decided it wasn't for me so worked full time, I also decided to move out and live with my boyfriend and 4 friends. So needed the money of a full time job.

Watching all my friends going off to uni and living student life i decided to give college another go and did a foundation degree, again I just don't think my head was in it and I passed but I really could have excelled. So after the year of working and college I decided i would work i kind of fell into being trained to be a team leader and had to do a lot of courses and training and i loved every minute of it. I stuck it out for a couple of years and started to train as an assistant manager. I worked so hard and because i loved it I really got my head down and worked.

Me and my boyfriend had also now brought our own house (we were 21, something I am really proud of doing so young!). At this point in time my then manager turned evil...she hated me and made my life hell, which is when I started to dislike my job and re-think what i wanted to do.
I changed units within the same company a couple of times due to the manager and ended up managing my own unit, which I loved. Then a bate of redundancies kind of put me off track, I wasn't made redundant but the worry and stress and then having to move units when I didn't want to just put it in my head this is NOT what I want to do in life!!!!
So I ended up getting a pay rise and being promoted but I just wasn't happy. Work drama/being bullied by a member of senior management and suffering with panic attacks and depression that was so bad I found it hard to leave the house made me realize if you are not happy in your job your whole life will be effected. I even thought the only way out of this is to get pregnant...which is ridiculous!

So after being off work for almost 2 months with stress and anxiety I went back but my head was not in it, this was a week ago and I have handed in my resignation and  demoting myself to a team leader, back to where I was 3 years ago. I wanted to focus my career on something I have always loved but didn't really realize you could have a career in it and its MAKE UP! I want to be a make-up artist, and want to have a successful beauty blog!

So here I am 24 and having a career change, Only time will tell what this will bring but I want to be happy and I know now money will not make you happy. I would rather be working a minimum paid job doing something I am passionate about than getting bonus' and being miserable.

So here I am starting over in life...Scary!

Scandal - they're gonna turn our lives into a freak show | Rimmel Scandel eyes waterproof kohl

This is going to be a rave...these amazing products are just £3.99 and boots always have offers on...at the moment it is buy 1 get one half price. They are smooth and pigmented, They last all day long on my waterline and don't smudge.
These are the quality of something of a much higher price.
I have not tried the urban decay pencils and every time i am tempted the drug store offer something for a third of the price i feel there is no point buying something for over £10 that does the same job.

I think there is a colour for everyone and i love that the high street are being more adventurous. no girl should be without a nude liner, especially if like me you work early mornings and late nights.

Run now into boots or SuperDrug and swatch these...if they have any left. These are amazing and i cannot find a fault with them.

Let's you and I kiss and make up. Without beforehand thinking, sometimes I say things. I could never hate you | makeup storage

I have been working on ways to store my makeup for so long! I have never really had any where to store my make up until around a year ago and ever since then i have been toying with different ways of working things and i am so happy with how it all works right now.

I find i am discovery old products and using new things rather than the same thing over and over again.
Its also really easy to tidy stuff away once its used (my boyfriend is mega happy with that!)
I got most of my storage from Muji and Ikea. I need more Muji storage I L-O-V-E it!

The top dish is from Ikea. I have a single drawer and double drawer stacked together and a triple layered wide drawer all from Muji.

If you know of any more ways to store makeup please comment below!

It's not where the story ends It's where it all begins |make up obbsesion TAG

1.When did you begin loving makeup?

I have always had a fascination with make up. I still have a lipstick my mom must have had when i was around 7. which i don't use but i like to open it and smell it and it is full of memories.

I didn't really have a female influence when i was starting to wear make up on a daily basis i was around 13 and my mom had left the family home and i had no female family around. my mom had left a few bits which just did not match my skin tone so i wore orange foundation blue eye shadow and orange lipstick...i must have looked a state. I wore make up a couple of times but would rather sleep than get up to apply make up before school.
i was def obsessed with lip gloss throughout high school. i had a pocket full but it put me off lip gloss i now hardly ever wear it at all.
I started wearing make up more regularly when i was 16 and at college. And really fell in love at around 20 i started goggling and searching YouTube for how to apply make up as none of my friends wear much so i just learnt by myself. i think my makeup technique now is so much better. and its what i want to do as a career, which at school and college it was never really an option. YouTube is entirely to blame for my expensive make up addiction!

2. How do you feel without makeup on?

I prefer to wear make up but i will walk the dog or go to the local shop without make up. It also depends how my skin is looking if i have a spot it makes me really paranoid people will think i am gross.
I should be more confident without makeup but at this moment in time i am very insecure so having a layer of makeup just gives me a boost to my mood and self esteem. I suffer from depression and panic attacks and when i am feeling more relaxed in myself i will happily go out without my slap.

3.What do you like about makeup?
I love the different looks you can create. If you're feeling inspired by the 20's or the eighties you can channel it through make up.
It can change the look of an out fit whether it is making it complete to completely ruining it.
I also think the special effects make up is amazing, you can make a 15 yr old look like a 90 yr old just using make up.

4.Three 'Holy Grail' items?
Bare escentuals original foundation - This is amazing stuff, you can build it up for a high coverage but also wear it as a powder really minimal for a flawless and glowing complexion.  It lasts all day on my skin.

MAC harmony blush- i use this as a contour and nothing compares to this. I use it daily it blends so easily and looks really natural but still gives a defined cheek. I want to try a cream contour from MAC next but i feel like nothing can out do this.

Loreal telescopic mascara- This is amazing stuff. it leaves lashes looking long and voluminousness. I prefer th orginal formula but i know people say the waterproof version holds a curl better. i have searched high and low for a mascara to out do this one but nothing has..yet.

this was quite a deep post for a beauty blog...Its quite interesting to see where obsessions begin!

Flexing vocabulary runs right through me The alphabet runs right from A to Z | a-z of beauty TAG

So fleur De force and sprinkle of glitter have created a new tag video on Youtube...its amazing and i want to re-create it here in written form...so basically its a-z beauty brands and you have to recommend a product from that brand...here goes...

A- Accessorize
The minerlise blushers are such good quality for such a cheap brand. They out do higher end brands. they leave a flush of natural looking sheeny colour on your cheeks.

B-Bare escentuals
Eye-shadows-best quality shadows i have ever come across they are far superior to Mac or Urban Decay.

C- Clearasil
The blemish face wash is simple and refreshing. it really helps when I have problem skin.

D-DKNY
My favorite perfume is DKNY be delicious Red. Its fresh and apple scented. I couldn't think of any other brands beggining with D!

E-Elizabeth Arden
Eight hour cream, every girl needs this in her life. its great, i use it mostly as a lip balm over night but in winter when your skin is especially dry slather this on overnight and in the morning your skin will be plumped and full of moisture.

F- Fashionista
They have some great quality products it is hard to pick just one. But something I use All the time is the eyebrow kit. The colours are great and the wax is Fab.

G-GHD
My GHD straightener are around 5 years old and still going strong, i Don't usually use them every day but when i want straight hair nothing else will do.

H-Head and shoulders
To be honest i have not tried anything for about 10 years but i know my boyfriend has used there basic shampoo/conditioner for dandruff and it works ok but i wouldn't rave about it.

I-Illamasqua
Cream blush these are amazing, you can use them on cheeks and lips and they do some nice colours that are a little bit unusual too.

J-Japonesque
The shader brush is so good for smudging eye liner or using shadow as liner. If you love the Smudgy look on your eyes this is the brush you need.

K-Korres
I haven't tried anything from this brand but couldn't think of any other brands by this letter. I have only heard good things about the lip balms/butters.

L-Loreal
Have loads of great products. The telescopic is my all time Fav mascara, the version in the Gold tube. I do want to stop using Loreal though as they test on animals :(.

M-Mac
Its hard to pick just one product from Mac. i think the lipsticks are great, i have not come across one i don't like. My favourite is probabaly Viva Glam GaGa or Nicki.

N-No7
Eyebrow pencil in Brown is an amazing match for my brows and also its smooth and creamy enough you don't have to drag it across your skin but also solid enough you don't have to sharpen it every use and doesn't leave your brows too waxy.

O-OPI
The nail varnish...haha. I have used their crackle poloishes and it gives a good effect. Again i think they're is cheaper brands out there for the same quality but if you want to treat yourself.

P-Primark
One of my favorite eyelash curlers are from primark. They are £1 and i don't think my shu uemura ones are any better.

Q- Ok is there a brand starting with Q? i couldn't recommend any products as i couldn't think of a brand!

R-Rimmel
Wake me up foundation is one of the best drugstore foundation I have tried. It is a bit orange so hopefully they will bring out more shades soon.

S-Sigma
my favourite foundation brush is the angled kabuki, this leaves a flawless finish and makes application quick. its also a great brush for contouring and cream products. i need more than one.

T-Tigi
I think the hair volumising products smell amazing for one and they actually work too. i love queen for a day volumising spray especially and never do my hair without this.

U-umberto Gianni
I love a lot of this range of products the hot styling spray is really good as it gives hair a little bit extra hold when you style it.

V-Vo5
The miricle oil is one of the first hair oils i tried. I loved it at the time but its more of a styling serum than something that will makes your hair healthier.

W-Witch
the spot solution is something i used as a teen and it worked miracles  I always have a tube of this i must have gone through ten tubes by now. If you have a problem with blemishes then try this.

X- i also failed to think of anything with X. I found I could think of millions of brands starting with B & S though!

Y-YSL
Glossy stains...these are one of my favourite lip products. they are unique and can be used in so many ways to acheive any look you want.

Z-Zoya
I couldn't think of many brands with this letter...i have tried one of their polishes and its a lovely colour and OK quality but i think there are cheaper just as good products out there.

OK that is it that was more difficult than i thought it would be! a lot of brands seem to have the same forst letter...which makes it hard to narrow down!
Can anyone think of a brand with Q or X as a first letter??
