I am obsessed with contouring. I want to know the best products to use and the best way to contour. I want to look like i have amazing cheek bones like kim kardashian!

But how to achieve this without looking like i have spread two stripes of mud down the side of my cheek?

Its all about blending...taking your time and building colour up over time! Be gentle and use products that are made for the purpose of contouring!

here is how i contour and what i use...

Yes me without a scrap of make up...i apologie for disturbing you!!

I use Lust skin tint in charisma under my foundation and then over the top of my foundation Mac harmony blush. Sleek contour kit is also really good if you're limited on budget.

I also use a luminizing concealer something like YSL touch eclat but i use a high street version such as lumi magic by loreal or aldi's copy cat version!

Do i look like Kim yet...long way to go until that!! haha!

I have been trying out using more of my eye shadows and this is a look i have been wearing recently.

 

I have also been trying out the way Kim Kardashian used contouring in her routine and i really love the look it gives. 

I think i am getting obbsesed with Kardashians...lol!

I know this is a bit full on for day to day wear but in winter i think you can get away with wearing more make up!!

No7 lip liner in 'flame'

Revlon lipstick 'Really red' 

I love red lips in autumn. I am trying to experiment more with eyeshadows too.

Bananas have no lips Bananas split! Bananas unite! | Home made Face Mask

So i have always fancied getting in the kitchen to make some thing other than my boyfriends tea...! But have never tried making my own face mask as i thought who wants to smear mayonnaise all over their faces? what can it possibility do to my skin...How wrong i was!!

I had some horrible old bananas (i do not know why i buy them as i just never eat them!) they were about to be chucked in the bin when i looked at my face and had hundreds (slight exaggeration) of red bumps/spots. I freaked out and decided i needed to give my face a good old treat.
I looked in my skincare cupboard and didn't have anything masks for blemishes so researched quickly on the internet what else i could do which i when i put the whole banana and face thing together...

I used a few recipes mixed together to create something i will be using again and again...

What you will need

Banana (if you're not a fan of bananas leave this out)
3 Tbs Oats
1 tsp Honey
1 Tbs Milk

A fork (for mixing)
A dish (for holding)

• I took off my makeup using soap and glory peaches and clean. I then used a face scrub by the body shop, the Vitamin C microdermabrasion one. 

• First mash the banana with the oats

• Now add the honey and milk 

You may need more or less milk depending on how thick you want the mask, I used quite a large banana so needed slightly more.

• Now smear this stuff all over your face!

I think this mask would be nicer warmed up in the microwave for a few seconds as it was really cold to apply. I didn't really enjoy the feeling of smearing it on my face and my dog tried to eat it...!

• I left it on for 15 minutes then scraped off the chunky bits and washed the residue off my face. 

I still have blemishes but it looks so much better than before!!

My face has never felt so smooth and supple. It took away the redness from the blemishes and this morning they have practically vanished. 

I couldn't recommend this highly enough and am going to try and use the oats on there own as a scrub/cleanser. 

I always thought shop brought masks would way out do home made/natural masks but I was wrong!

I think you should all go now to your cupboards and make this!!

SKINCARE -

How many times do you wash your face daily?
i would like to say twice but sometimes i am lazy and use a makeup wipe or cleansing water so lets say one and a half on average!! 

What skin type do you have? (dry,oily,combo) 
combination. it tends to get oilier in summer and  dryer come winter. 

What is your current facial wash?
soap and glory peaches and clean

Do you exfoliate? 
Yes, I love a good scrub. i have several depending on what my skin feels like. The body shop vitamin c scrub is amazing. 

What brand do you use?
The body shop as i just said! Also soap and glory scrub your nose in it. 

What moisturizer do you use?
to be honest i am not loyal to one brand. I have been using the L'Oreal lumize serum and a few others

Do you have freckles? 
Yes, they come out in the sun, but there not very noticeable. Do you use eye cream? 
not as much as i should. i have really sensitive eyes and they get very dry underneath but all the eye creams i have used have not improved it but dried it out more as most of them are for 'tightening' or improving dark circles not really for moisturizing. i occasionally use the alpha h eye serum. Do you or did you have acne prone skin?
yes, i wouldnt say acne as such but i get a lot of spots. they are always around my mouth and get worse at that time of month. i have to keep on top of my skincare routine to get my skin looking OK. alpha h liquid gold has really helped with scarring of spots though. Did you ever have to use Pro-activ? 
no, i have looked into it but never tried it.
MAKE-UP
What foundation do you use? 
i use a mixture depending on what the weather is like, if i am working, what my skin is like. on bad skin days i wear Estee Lauder maximum coverage mixed with a lighter foundation such as Chanel vita Lumiere or healthy mix serum. i also love rimmel wake me up foundation. My all time Favorite foundation is bare escentuals original mineral foundation as its amazing. 

How about concealer? 
i have yet to find a concelaer i really love, i dont wear it every day its a step i end to miss when feeling lazy! I usually use estee lauder maximum coverage as a concealer on spots and under my eyes i havnt found anything that doesn't crease :( Do you know your undertone color?
I have cool toned skin, with a very slight pink undertone. thats my opinion on my undertone anyway.What do you think of fake eyelashes?
i love them, as long as there not really ott!! i would love to try permanent lash extensions but they are so expensive and you hear some horror stories! 

Did you know that you are supposed to change your mascara every 3 months? 
i know this but i dont really follow this rule, as i tend to open a mascara and not use it for a month so it dries out slightly, so technically its got no bacteria in it as its open but not used...wow hope that made any sense

What brand of mascara do you use?
my ultimate is L'Oreal telescopic, non waterproof version its amazing, i also love YSL shocking faux cils and benefit they're real. 
i also have been using a lash fibre recently.
Sephora or MAC? 
we dont have a sephora here in england i am praying one day they will rbing themselves back to the UK! so it would have to be mac.Do you have a MAC Pro-card? 
i wish!What makeup tools do you use in make up application? 
brushes, eyelash curlers, thats about it. 

Do you use make-up base/primer for the eyes? 
I really try to i tend to use mac paint pot or something with a bit of colour. im not a huge fan of urban decay primer potion. 

For the face? 
yes, i always use a primer unless im going to remove my makeup really quickly and i dont need it to last. my fav is benefit the porefessional. its so good.

What is your favorite eyeshadow (color or shade)?
thats such a hard question. my favorite formula are the bare minerals eye-shadows, the ready to wear as they are easier to use. i love tan lines and the 'happy' shadow. i also love mac electric cool eyeshadow in dynamo. Do you use pencil or liquid eyeliner? 
i prefer pencil as its just quicker and easier. i also prefer a smudgy less neat look.

How often do you poke your eyes with an eyeliner pencil? 
err not too often. its normally mascara i get in my eyes.What do you think of pigment eyeshadows? 
I like them its just a little more messy to use. 

Do you use mineral makeup? 
i love mineral makeup. bare minerals foundation is just so natural and glowy. they are an amazing brand.

What is your favorite lipstick?
my favourtie lipstick is mac viva glam gaga and viva glam nicki. i also love red lips. i go through phases but im either a pink or red girl.

How about lipgloss? 
i hardly ever wear lipgloss. i like the bare minerals lipgloss and also the soap and glory formulas are nice.What is your favorite blush to use? 
this is easy, benefit coralista. beautiful.

Do you buy your makeup on ebay? 
i have brought a couple of things. i got some nyx lipsticks. its usually things from the US that we can't get over here.Do you like drugstore makeup? 
yes i think some of it is lovely some of it is horrible! i do prefer high end things as they feel like a luxury  item but i think if a product is good it really doesn't matter where you buy it. 

Do you go to CCO's? (cosmetic company outlets) 
i have never been to one as there is none where i live but i would love to go to one!Did you ever consider taking make-up classes? 
yes, i am looking into it i was going to start this Sept but time got in the way!

Are you clumsy in putting on makeup?
not really, i am clumsy with knocking makeup on the floor but not applying it on my face.Name a makeup crime that you hate? 
oh so many!! i hate when people draw on their brows as thing squiggles. too much bronzer. tide lines, too much mascara, too much blush...so many things haha...

Do you like colorful shades of makeup (lipstick,eyeshadow) or neutral ones? 
i prefer to have brighter lips. i think the wildest colour i wear on my eyes is a deep purple or orange but they are always neutral.Which celebrity always has great make up?

probably mascara or if i'm having a bad skin day foundation. Could you ever leave the house without any makeup on?
yes, i do quite often. i feel more comfortable with make up on though. 

Do you think you look good even without any makeup on? 
no, i think i look better with makeup but my boyfriend always says i don't need makeup. In your opinion, what is the BEST makeup line?
Illamasqua. they have an edge about the brand and don't mind being different.
